Trinity's Gingerbread Party

Christmas time always comes with invitations to fun parties. Trinity's invitation was from a friend she's had since kindergarten (granted, that's only 3 years, but still) for a gingerbread house decorating party. It was quite a shin-ding. When I dropped her off, she was whisked away to assemble her own personal apron. While they were there, they decorated huge Styrofoam snowflakes, and build wonderful gingerbread houses. There was also lots of yummy food and general all around excitement.

The mom had emailed all the parents earlier in the week and had given us the heads up that Santa would show up at the end of the party. Our job was to email her back some accomplishments that Santa could compliment your child on. We were also to drop off a small gift that Santa could give to your child. Then we were invited to join the party for the part when Santa showed up. I arrived just in time.

All the kids rushed to door as soon as the doorbell rang. Trinity kind of stood back, since Santa doesn't bring presents to our house. Santa had a pretty good set up. He pulled out a gift and called out the child name. The child would come up and sit on his lap. It looked like he was listening to someone read off the different accolades for each child as they chatted. Then he would give them their gift. Our notes for Trinity were that she had accepted Christ and was baptized this year and she was also playing well in her basketball games. Then Santa handed her the Littlest Pet Shop gift, which she loved!!

She had a great time with her friends! Thanks Lexi for such a wonderful party!!!
