The last Wednesday night at church before the Christmas break brought a very special treat. Brett, our youth minister, brought in a chalk artist and it was amazing to watch her work. She took a simple canvas and added amazing layers of simple chalk to create a moving portrait of the shepherds and wise men heading toward Bethlehem.
Then she sang a beautiful song as she adjusted the lighting shining on the portrait to reveal an angel looking down on Baby Jesus. Just wonderful. These pictures hardly give it justice. Such a wonderful talent.
