Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day. After church, we came home for a relaxing lunch and a very important nap. We gave Craig some gifts and lavished him with hugs and kisses in appreciation for what a wonderful Daddy he is!! He received new socks and boxers, a Monopoly card game, some Fruit Stripe gum and a light for his grill.

Thank you Craig, for all that you put into our family. You are a wonderful leader and a great servant all at the same time! We love you so much!!!!

Following naps, it was actually work time. VBS was that week and I had a whole room to decorate and turn into an Australian Outback wonderland. I felt bad for using Craig for manual labor on his special day, but he actually loves the creating that goes into VBS week. While the kids were in the other room, wonderfully mesmerized by the portable DVD player, Craig, Pam (my co-teacher) and I put up posters, hung fun streamers from the ceiling, built a termite mound, erected an outback hut and created a huge waterfall!! They all turned out amazingly!! By the end of the night, I was almost completely ready to kick off the week of VBS.

And finally, our waterfall (loved it!)
