Back to the Mill

Last Thursday, we took the kids back to the mill that Craig and I had visited on Tuesday. They had so much fun walking (or trying to walk) all over the rocks and splashing in the water. It wasn't deep at all, but the current and a few slippery rocks took a bit of balance. We stayed in one are for a little while to splash and attempt skipping stones. Then trudged upstream to check out the waterfall. It wasn't a far walk, but it took a while. Trinity and Kalyn did great on their own, but poor Xander needed an extra hand to make it successfully. I clearly called that an arm workout from pulling him up and keeping him from falling. The kids enjoyed the waterfall and had lots of fun simply playing in the creek. We love free entertainment and excitement!!

Craig tries to teach Trinity how to skip a stone.
(You may just want to keep your eyes open when she's "practicing".)

Xander loves splashing

While we were walking upstream, Kalyn came across a few Canadian geese.
She sat and watched them until they paddled away.

Kalyn searches for the perfect rock.

What a cute family!!
