Snow Days

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been watching all the snow pile up in the north. While we do not want to be snowed in, we were hoping that we would have some white flakes around us. So, we were carefully keeping our eyes on the radar as snow was forecast ed last week. Last Friday, around 1PM, the snow began coming down. It snowed pretty solidly for most of the day and created a wonderful afternoon of fun! We began by getting the kids' feet protected from the wetness. We threw snowballs and then made a snow person. Unfortunately, Xander and Trinity got a bit cold and headed inside before we finished. Kalyn was our trooper who stayed out in the cold to help Craig and I complete our snow person.

Check out the line of snow on our mailbox!

Dry feet are good things!

Craig's on the attack with the snowballs.

Saturday morning we woke up and had a second day of snow fun on the driveway. We had a great time "sledding" with our large plastic box tops (hey, when you're in the south, you use what you have). We even had our homage to the Olympic sports of skeleton and downhill skiing. We even gained an extra child from down the street with our fun. It was a wonderful morning of fun!

Here's Craig's video from the snow days. He's so good at creating these! Enjoy~
