The End Of The Season

Saturday was Trinity's final game in her first basketball season. I was sorry that I missed it since my run was at the same time. However, I was very thankful that I was able to watch all of her other games. I knew she would do great and Craig, Kalyn and Xander would be there to cheer her on.
Here are some of the highlights during the game. She took a wide open shot of at the basket, but unfortunately, she missed. She had some great defense moves. Overall, she did really well. They finished out the year undefeated! Quite a change from last year's team who were on the other end of the spectrum.

Xander and Kalyn kept busy with a couple of coloring books and a box of crayons. Always good entertainment!

Saturday night, the team celebrated the end of the season with a party at a nearby pizzeria. We were looking forward to trying out this new spot, just around the corner from our house. Village Slice was delicious and so helpful with our big group.

The coaches gave out little goodie bags - or MVP awards - to all the girls.

Everyone enjoyed the ice cream that followed the pizza.

What a wonderful way to finish out the season.
