Weekend with Manny

Kalyn has a great preschool class. We love her teachers and she has a blast!! Her class has a "class mascot" that gets to visit with each child over a weekend. Last weekend was our special weekend with Manny. Kalyn was very excited to welcome Manny the Monkey home. He comes complete with a notebook of the adventures he's had with the other students, his pajamas and a change of clothes. The very first thing Kalyn wanted to do was change his socks. Since one of the teachers is a Georgia fan and the other one is an Auburn fan, he has two pair of socks - one with the G and one with the AU. Guess which one she couldn't wait to get off?

Manny got to play in the snow with us.

Kalyn took him sledding and then let him go on his own.

Kalyn helped him make a snow angel.

Manny went down the frozen slide.

Afterwards, he warmed up by the fire. It was cozy!

Saturday, Manny went climbing with Kalyn on the rock wall. Kalyn is doing so well in her climbing and having a blast doing it. She's goes higher and higher every time.

Sunday morning, he went to church with Kalyn. Usually, we don't take toys to church because it's just too much of a distraction, but we make a special exception for Manny's visit. He got to hear about Jesus growing up and the wise men visiting him.

Kalyn had lots of fun with Manny! What a special weekend.
