Southern Snow

Anytime we get snow, or even the threat of snow, it's a big deal. It doesn't happen often, so we are always excited when a little white precipitation makes its way to our house. We also enjoy it when the snow gives us a day off of school.
We didn't get a lot of snow, but it was enough to go play in. It even stayed around for two days. The ice stayed around for almost a week, which made getting up (and down) our very sloped driveway quite an adventure. The kids had a blast!!

We threw snow balls.

We caught snowflakes. This was the first time I could remember actually looking and seeing the snowflake "designs" as opposed to simply white specks.

The girls made snow angels.

We went "sledding" down our driveway. Even Craig and I got in on the fun.

When it was all over, we came in and warmed up with some delicious hot chocolate.
It was a great couple of winter days!!
