Saturday afternoon, we decided to give the girls a little treat my exposing them to rock climbing at the indoor climbing wall at Lifetime. We were excited to see how they would do. Since Kalyn just turned 5 in November, this was her first opportunity to go. We thought Kalyn would be a little bit more excited than Trinity, so we decided to wait until they cold both go together. We talked a lot about encouraging one another and supporting each other as they climbed. When we arrived, there were only a couple of people climbing, so we had our choice of ropes to use and paths to take.

As we expected, Kalyn got right into it. She did really well. Trinity did well too, however she just didn't get as high. She would hit a point and then just decide she was done. We kept encouraging her and reminding ourselves that this was her first time climbing. Kalyn went as high as she could. A couple of times, one of the ledges stopped her from going further. I think they both had fun. We are looking forward to taking them again soon.
