Mission Auction Pool Party

This year, our church held their almost-annual mission auction luncheon. It is a great way to raise financial support for our various mission trips and bring people together who may not normally be together. People (or groups) auction off fellowship opportunity - anything from dinners, class parties, camping trips, golf outings, quilting classes, pretty much whatever people think up to offer. It's always interesting to see what people put up for auction and enjoy the auctions we were able to join.

This year, our class participated in two group auctions. The first one was a pool party and cookout at a nearby home. It was a great time relaxing in the pool, hanging out with friends and eating some yummy, yummy food. This was the first time that Craig and I were able to really enjoy a pool party without having to be right next to Kalyn and Trinity. Both of them have become very confident swimmers lately and we are very proud of them! As long as Xander has his little "floatie" on, he's good to go. All the kids had a great time jumping off the diving board, shooting each other with water guns and simply having a blast!

nothing works up a good appetite like an afternoon in the pool
the boys enjoying a little cards after dinner
What a great afternoon with friends and for a good cause!
